DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – January 24, 2018
High Salary PG
Kemba Walker, CHA vs NO ($8,000): The Pelicans are 25th against point guards in their last 15 games. Walker has been over value in four straight, including a 52.5 fantasy point game against the Kings on Monday. Steve Clifford’s return to the bench and the trade rumors have sparked Walker and he’s entering a great matchup on top of that. He averaged 49.1 fantasy points in two games against the Pelicans last season. I like Walker to be over 40 fantasy points on Wednesday *****
Damian Lillard, POR vs MIN ($8,900): Lillard won’t have extra motivation from an All-Star snub, but he may have extra motivation following the report about him meeting with the owner. He’s been over value in seven straight games. The Timberwolves are 12th against the position in their last 15 games, but their defense takes a hit with Jimmy Butler sidelined. There’s a chance Butler plays, but even if he does, Lillard is a reliable play. ****
Kyle Lowry, TOR at ATL ($7,900): Lowry had 56.75 fantasy points against the Timberwolves on Saturday. He’s been over value in his last three and five of his last six. He was a bust last time out against the Hawks, posting 26.25 fantasy points in 30 minutes on Dec. 29. The Hawks are 26th against the position in their last 15 games. The matchup is good and Lowry is playing well right now. ****
