FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – January 24, 2018
High Value PG
Jerian Grant, CHI at PHI ($6,300): Grant’s value is up to where he’s a borderline play. He’s coming off 50.5 fantasy points against the Pelicans. The Sixers are 17th against the position in their last 15 games. Grant is playing well enough right now that I have to trust him to hit value. The Sixers are missing some key guys in their backcourt, which should help Grant’s game. He’s been great in his two games as the starter and the matchup is good enough to where he should at least hit value. ***
Jeff Teague, MIN at POR ($6,000): Teague had 41.6 fantasy points against the Clippers on Monday. It’s unlikely he gets to the free throw line as often as he did in that one, but without Jimmy Butler, he’s a strong perimeter option whose usage goes up. Butler might return in this one, and if he does, that will slightly hurt Teague’s value, but also take pressure off of him offensively. He had 39.2 fantasy points against the Trail Blazers on Jan. 14. ***
Darren Collison, IND vs PHO ($5,400): Collison has been over value in six straight. He was great during the Pacers recent west coast road trip and should not slow down back in Indiana. Especially with Phoenix coming to town. He had 27.6 fantasy points against the Suns on Jan. 14. That number would put him nicely over value on Wednesday. Assuming he gets enough minutes, he should have no problem hitting 25+ fantasy points against Phoenix. ****
