High Value SG

Marcus Smart, BOS at LAC ($5,400): Smart is coming off a strong **.* fantasy point effort against the Lakers. The Clippers are 26th against the position in their last 15 games. The back-to-back doesn’t concern me with Smart because he always brings the energy off the Boston bench. He’s bee over value in his last three back-to-back games. He’s been inconsistent this season, but the matchup projects well for him and I think he’ll take it as a personal challenge to shutdown Lou Williams. When he’s locked in defensively, he’s contributing on offense. ***

Andrew Wiggins, MIN at POR ($6,100): Jimmy Butler is listed as questionable and it’s possible he’s able to suit up for this one. He has can play, I don’t like Wiggins quite as much, but his salary isn’t so bad. He needs 25.8 fantasy points to hit value. He had 27.8 fantasy points against the Blazers on Jan. 14. That was with Butler in the lineup, so I would not count on Butler cutting into his value, if it at all. If Butler can’t go, I love Wiggins. If he can’t, I still like him to at least hit value. ****

Jeremy Lamb, CHA vs NO ($4,500): Lamb has been over value in three straight. He had 33 fantasy points against the Kings on Jan. 22. The Pelicans have struggled defensively, especially against the perimeter, all season. Lamb is a solid scorer and rebounder. He’s a low cost option, needing only 19 fantasy points to hit value, who helps you grab another star on a big night of action. This one should be a high scoring affair and Lamb will do his part as a contributor. ***
