Portland Trail Blazers

Send: Mo Harkless

Receive: Nikola Mirotic

The Trail Blazers are rumored to be interested in DeAndre Jordan, but in my opinion, the better move would be to acquire Mirotic from the Bulls. They wouldn’t lose sleep if Harkless wasn’t on their roster, and Mirotic allows them to space the floor from the power forward position with a better shooter than Zach Collins or Meyers Leonard. They’ve shown they can wear teams down with long possessions on offense, and Mirotic is an excellent catch-and-shoot threat for when McCollum or Lillard drive into the lane.

The Trail Blazers are in the jumble for the No. 8 seed with the Pelicans, Clippers, and Nuggets, and getting Mirotic could give them a talent upgrade that helps them secure a playoff spot in April.
