Memphis Grizzlies

Send: Tyreke Evans

Receive: Alexis Ajinca, Mike James, 2018 first round pick

The Grizzlies seem to have realized they aren’t going to be a playoff team this year. They don’t have their 2019 first round pick, and they really need to find an impact player in the draft this year. They struck gold by signing Evans in the offseason to a bargain of a contract, and cash out on that move at the deadline by moving him back to New Orleans for salary cap filler and a first round pick.

The Grizzlies could also look to move James Ennis III, who is coming off the bench for them but is a playable wing. They might not get a first round pick for him, but they desperately need cheap talent, and they need to stockpile it now while Mike Conley Jr and Marc Gasol are still in their primes.
