Former team: Chicago Bears

Another position of need for the Miami Dolphins is at the cornerback position. Their incumbent starters are rookie third-round pick Cordrea Tankersley and former second-round pick in 2016 Xavien Howard. Even the safety position lacks a player who could not be upgraded. There is youth among the group but they have struggled.

A player that fits the youth timeline but would immediately be their best corner is former Chicago Bears Kyle Fuller. Another former high draft pick, Fuller struggled prior to this season where he really shined opposite Prince Amukamara. The 14th-overall pick of the 2014 draft out Virginia Tech has the talent to be a number one corner, he showed some of those skills this season.

Fuller started all 16 games this season despite rumors he would be cut prior to training camp. In those 16 games he broke up 22 passes, second in the NFL behind only Darius Slay. Given his play this season, he made himself into one of the best corners available on the market.

Other corners like Trumaine Johnson and Malcolm Butler may demand more money but given his success in Chicago and age, Fuller should be in the same conversation.

Again, Miami may be outbid here. There cap sheet is rough and they only have $9 million available. If Fuller starts to see the money drying up around the league, Miami could jump on him.
