High Value C

Robin Lopez, CHI vs MIL ($4,300): Lopez has missed value in his last two games. He’s faired well against the Bucks this season, averaging 24.5 fantasy points in two games. He needs 18.8 fantasy points to hit value. His low salary should allow him to at least reach value, but I would not count on him for anything more. ****

Greg Monroe, PHO at HOU ($4,700): If Tyson Chandler is out once again, Monroe should draw the start. He had a monster 43.7 fantasy points against the Rockets on Nov. 16. I doubt he reaches that number again, but it goes to show you the kind of numbers he can put up against the Rockets. ***

Paul Gasol, SA vs SAC ($6,400): Gasol has been hit-and-miss against the Kings this season. He had 18.8 fantasy points against them on Jan. 8, but posted 41.2 fantasy points on Dec. 23. The matchup is good enough to where I think he’ll hit value. As long as he plays around 30 minutes, he should give you 30 fantasy points. ****

Jonas Valanciunas, TOR vs LAL ($5,700): Valancianas posted a season high 61.8 fantasy points against the Jazz on Friday. He’s a boom-or-but player, but he’s boomed in his last two games. The Lakers are are sixth against the position in their last 15 games. I still don’t quite trust Valanciunas due to his season long inconsistencies, but he should do enough to at least hit value on Sunday.
