The USC Trojans have developed a bit of a pattern on National Signing Day lately. They won’t come into the day with the strongest of classes already lined up, but they end up finishing with one when it’s all said and done.

They’re just one of those programs that are going to clean up on the local products and get the top in-state talent to commit by the end of the day. As is the case, the Trojans are expected to bring in plenty of skill talent.

Servite safety Julius Irvin is one of those prospects that could and should end up being a USC Trojans. At 6’2″ and 182 pounds, Irvin possesses a big frame and has plenty of room to fill out and become a big-time safety for the Trojans.

The experts at 24/7sports see USC as the likely favorite, while some see Notre Dame as a potential landing spot as well. When trying to predict where Irvin ends up, it’s best to draw on history from past signing days in these situations.

USC has a strong track record of getting their local stars and adding a potential future dynamic safety with a big frame is something they won’t pass up. Look for Irvin to end up playing with the Trojans.
