National Signing Day 2018: Predicting where the top 25 uncommitted recruits sign
- High School: Concord
- Composite Ranking: No. 113, No. 11 DT
There’s nothing quite like a defensive tackle prospect that can manhandle the competition at such a young age. Concord’s Rick Sandidge lives and breathes throwing opposing offensive linemen to the ground.
He’s been offered by all of the major programs in hopes that he will come be a terror along their offensive line. It’s hard to blame them either. At 6’5″ and 288 pounds, Sandidge is a mountain of a man and he’s only going to get better.
In the right system, Sandidge will have a chance to make a name for himself at the next level and perhaps begin to create his own legend. The massive consensus here is that he is bound for South Carolina and no one is going to be swoop in and take him away.
The Gamecocks appear to be on the rise again and getting a potential superstar along the defensive lines on Saturday’s will be a big plus for them. With all of the strong running attacks in the SEC and the offensive lines that come with, a player like Sandidge is a must.
This is one of the easy predictions to make, as Will Muschamp should be adding a monster on National Signing Day.
Prediction: South Carolina
