NBA games of the week: Enes Kanter trash talks the world
By Chazz Scogna
Sunday, Feb. 4: Atlanta at New York, 12:00 p.m. ET
Potential targets: Anyone
The Hawks are similar to the Nets in that they don’t have a bona fide star for Kanter to call out. The first time the Knicks played Atlanta, Kanter missed the game due to a back injury and said he cried because the team lost. The second time they faced each other, Kanter only had eight points and five boards over 18 minutes of playing time.

The Hawks have a half-game lead over the Orlando Magic for the worst record in the NBA. They’re last in defensive rebounding percentage and 26th in rebounding percentage overall. They aren’t much of a factor nor are they even close to Kanter’s trash talking war path. But we could see a 20-20 game from him instead.
