NHL Top prospects game: Who hurt, helped stock?
Ty Dellandrea – Stock up
Ty Dellandrea was one of the great stories of this game. He isn’t ranked very high, but he is having a good season with the Flint Firebirds of the OHL. Dellandrea has collected 39 points in 46 games and had a lot to prove during the game. Dellandrea is in position to be an early second round pick in the upcoming draft. If he continues to have performances like he did during the Prospects game, he could improve his draft stock and work himself into the first round.
During the game Dellandrea was electric, every shift he was making plays, his name was all over the broadcast. He got his first goal late in the first period and then only twenty seconds later he picked up his second of the night. Even though he had two goals this game he had many opportunities for more. Dellandrea made important plays in all three zones of the ice. If your team is expected to pick late in the first round or early second round Ty Dellandrea is a name, you are going to want to watch the rest of the season.
