FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – January 30, 2018
High Salary PG
Russell Westbrook, OKC at WAS ($12,500): Westbrook posted 62.2 fantasy points against the Wizards a week ago. In the two games following that performance, he’s somehow upped his numbers, collecting 63.7 fantasy points against the Pistons and 73.8 fantasy points against the Sixers. I don’t know if he’ll quite reach 60 fantasy points in this one, but no John Wall should make his job easier. He needs 52 fantasy points to hit value. He should give you at least 50 fantasy points, but with no pettiness involved, he might slightly underperform. ****
Steph Curry, GS at UTA ($10,000): Curry is listed as probable with a shoulder injury. He looked just fine on Saturday, so I’m thinking this could be a small injury that the Warriors may use as a way to rest Curry on Tuesday. Assuming he plays, he should put up hit typical numbers. He’s been 10-plus fantasy points over value in two straight, including a monster 66.3 fantasy point game against the Celtics. He should once again hit value on Tuesday, likely finishing with somewhere around 45 fantasy points. ****
Damian Lillard, POR at LAC ($9,100): The Clippers are 22nd against the position in their last 15 games. Lillard has missed value in two of his last three. He had 35.4 fantasy points against the Clippers on Oct. 26, but the circumstances surrounding this game are much different. He needs 37.9 fantasy points to hit value on Tuesday. I don’t know how the Clippers will play in the aftermath of this trade, but I do know that they’ll be shorthand as the incoming players are unlikely to suit up. This is a good matchup for Lillard and one that I expect him to take advantage of. ****
