NBA Power Rankings: Blake Griffin trade shakes things up

The Kings snapped an eight-game losing streak with a win over the Orlando Magic, 105-99, with Garrett Temple having the time of his life. The seven year veteran had 34 points, as the Magic collectively decided to not guard him — like, at all.
“Garrett was in a rhythm,” teammate Vince Carter said. “He was out there with veteran guys who just know how to make the right play. It was us being cognizant of `Hey, the hot guy’s open, get it to him immediately.’ And it worked out that way.”
De’Aaron Fox single-handedly won the game against the Heat, slamming home an offensive rebound with three seconds to give his team a 89-88 win over the Heat. The rookie point guard showed off some incredible athleticism, skying over the Heat’s defenders for the two-hand slam. Fox had 14 points, but none were more special than his final field goal. Fox had 26 points in their final game of the week, but couldn’t knock off the Spurs in San Antonio, falling 113-98 on the road to drop to last place in the Western Conference.
