NBA Power Rankings: Blake Griffin trade shakes things up
By Daniel Lewis
The Raptors had a nice week, with a win to start the week and a win to end the week, and a loss to the Jazz in Toronto sandwiched in between. Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan earned trips to the All-Star game, as they were recognized for the strong seasons they are having yet again, leading the Raptors to one of the best records in the league. This team has a lot of experience together, with a nice mix of veterans and young players, and seemed prime for the playoffs. Don’t let the secret out, but I’m thinking they have as good of a shot as anyone at representing the Eastern Conference in the NBA Finals this year. It’s going to take a lot of work from the Celtics and Cavaliers to show me that they’re a better overall team.
