Alexis Sanchez, Manchester United

After spending the first half of the season with a club he clearly didn’t want to play for anymore, Sanchez finally got the move he wanted by signing for Manchester United.

Sanchez is now in what will be looked at the height of his career once he retires. He is a key player for arguably the biggest club in the world, making £500k a week, and in a position to compete for multiple trophies. By signing for United, he got everything Arsenal couldn’t give him.

For Manchester United and Jose Mourinho, this is a sound piece of business. Sanchez’s deal was completed via player swap. Mourinho sent out of favor Henrikh Mkhitaryan to the Gunners for a player who could potentially be his greatest attacking threat.

Even if you factor in the state of Sanchez’s contract and his desire to leave Arsenal, Mourinho still robbed Wenger and there was nothing the Frenchmen could do about it.
