Quarterback. Louisville. Lamar Jackson. 21. player. 16.

The Buffalo Bills surprised a lot of people this season, as they made it to the AFC Playoffs as a Wild Card team. While their run in the playoffs ended in the Wild Card Round, it was the organization’s first playoff appearance since 1999. This franchise is headed in the right direction under second-year head coach Sean McDermott, but they have to figure out the quarterback position moving forward.

Most teams would like to have a player like Tyrod Taylor starting for them at quarterback, but McDermott benched him this year. He made the move to 2017 draft pick Nathan Peterman, who had issues throwing the ball to the wrong team. The Bills will pick twice in the first round in April, and they are likely to pick a quarterback with the first of two picks at No. 21.

One name that has been thrown around is Lamar Jackson, who won the Heisman Trophy during his time with Louisville. While some scouts are down on Jackson as an NFL prospect, the fact is he has all the talent to be a great player at the next level. The Bills need to draft a quarterback in round one, and if they do not trade up higher, they may be able to lock down the former Heisman winner this late in the first.
