High Value PG

Jeff Teague, MIN vs NO ($5,600): Teague posted 25.25 fantasy points in 28 minutes against the Bucks on Thursday. He’s been right around value in his last three and a lowered salary helps his cause on Saturday. Also helping is cause is the fact that the Pelicans have struggled against perimeter players all season. They rank 22nd against point guards in their last 15 games. Teague had 19 fantasy points against New Orleans on Nov. 1, but don’t put much stock into that game. Expect Teague to be over value in this one given the matchup. ***

Dejounte Murray, SA vs UTA ($5,600): Murray missed value by 3.8 fantasy points against the Rockets on Thursday, but that has helped his cause on Saturday. His salary has dipped a bit and he needs 24.8 fantasy points to hit value against the Jazz. This is a tough matchup as Utah ranks seventh against the position in their last 15 games. Don’t write off Murray after one mediocre performance. He’ll continue to be a solid contributor as the starting point guard on the Spurs. He had 20 fantasy points in 19 minutes against Utah on Dec. 21. He’ll play far more than 19 minutes on Saturday, which should lead to an increase in production. ****

Tomas Satoransky, WAS at ORL ($4,800): Satoransky has been great in the three games without John Wall, averaging 24.4 fantasy points during this stretch. He needs 21.3 fantasy points to hit value on Saturday. Given the circumstances and the matchup, that should not be an issue for the Washington guard. He’s a steady contributor and the Magic have the 27th-ranked defense in the league. ***
