Leicester come into this match following a 2-1 midweek loss to Everton. Claude Puel’s side are having a better season than most expected and, despite the setback midweek, have emerged as probably the best team in the Premier League outside the big six.
Swansea are coming off a 3-1 victory against Arsenal where Sam Clucas bagged brace. The Welsh side have been in inspiring form since Carlos Carvalhal took over from Paul Clement as manager, earning 10 of a possible 15 points under the Spanish manager. Clucas, Jordan Ayew and Alfie Mawson have experienced a resurgence under the new manager and will look to continue their solid run of form against Jamie Vardy and co.
Leicester beat the Swans at the Liberty back in October thanks to a Federico Fernandez own goal and a Shinji Okazaki tap-in. Mawson was the consolation scorer for Swansea.
Although Swansea are an entirely different team now, Leicester have improved significantly since Puel took over. Even with Swansea’s newfound confidence, it will take all they’ve got to not leave Leicester empty handed.
