High Value PG

Jarrett Jack, NY vs ATL ($4,600): Your options are rather limited as far as reliable value point guard plays go. Jack is my pick because this is a great matchup, the Hawks are 26th against the position in their last 15 games, and Jack is a starter. He’s going to get solid minutes against a weak opponent, which is more than you can say about the other value point guards on Sunday afternoon. He’s averaging 32.1 fantasy points in two games against Atlanta this season. ****

Andrew Harrison, MEM at TOR ($4,600): Harrison has been over value in five straight. With Tyreke Evans benched and likely off the team come Thursday, Harrison will continue to be the top option on the perimeter. He posted 23.5 fantasy points in 29 minutes against the Raptors on Dec. 8. The circumstances favor him much more on Sunday and he should provide you with 20-plus fantasy points. He needs 20.6 fantasy points to hit value in this one. ***

Jordan Clarkson, LAL at OKC ($6,000): If Josh Hart draws the start for the Lakers, go with him over Clarkson. Hart has been solid as the starting guard, but less so when he’s coming off the bench. Clarkson leads the bench unit, and while he’s been under value in three of his last four, he should be able to bounce back against a struggling Thunder team. Again, if Hart starts, save the money and take him. But Clarkson is guaranteed to play solid minutes, while I can’t say the same about Hart when he’s coming off the bench. ***
