High Value C

Jonas Valanciunas, TOR vs MEM ($6,400): Valanciunas has been over value in five of his last six. In his one miss, he missed by 1.1 fantasy points. The Grizzlies are 21st against the position in their last 15 games. Valanciunas has 20.6 fantasy points in 18 minutes against Memphis on Dec. 8. He’s played well in recent contests and his minutes should be over 18 on Sunday. If that’s the case, expect him to be around value once again. ***

Julius Randle, LAL at OKC ($5,900): The Thunder are 26th against the position in their last 15 games. Randle has been over value in three straight and five of his last six. He’s averaging 19.9 fantasy points in 22 minutes against the Thunder this season. Those numbers are not impressive, but they have come in two blowout losses. This game should be more competitive on Sunday, leading to more minutes and a bigger role for Randle. He should be just over 26 fantasy points given the current state of the Thunder defense. ****

Jarrett Allen, BKN vs MIL ($5,100): Allen has been over 35 fantasy points in his last two games. The Bucks are 24th against the position in their last 15 games. Allen has made the most of his recent starting opportunities and this is a good matchup for him to continue to exceed value. He needs 22.5 fantasy points to hit value on Sunday. Another 35-plus fantasy point game might be aiming too high, but there’s no reason why he shouldn’t be over 25 fantasy points in this one. ***
