Justin Timberlake performed at Super Bowl 52, but what songs did he bring with to mark the occasion?

There were a few things that we needed to unpack regarding the Super Bowl 52 halftime show. First and foremost, the rumors that NSYNC would reunite were running wild in the days leading up to the performance, but that was outdone by whispers that he’d be vampiring Prince’s legacy during the show.

The idea that a hologram of Prince was even remotely an idea is as offensive as it gets. Thankfully it didn’t happen, and it was strange that Timberlake was taking so much attention away from the fact that he was performing the halftime show in order to promote his newest album.

Man of the Woods dropped this week and no matter how you feel about it, the idea was that Timberlake would be leaning heavily on songs from it to bolster his show.

– Filthy

– Rock Your Body

– Señorita

– Sexy Back

– My Love

– Cry Me A River

– Suit and Tie

-Until The End of Time

– I Would Die 4 U

– Mirrors

– Can’t Stop The Feeling

The idea that he’s use ‘Filthy’ seemed obvious, as it was the first single to drop from Man of the Woods and has been in heavy rotation ever since. While everyone was expecting massive celebrity cameos, a likely duet was with Chris Stapleton, who Timberlake collaborated on for ‘Say Something’.
