Wyoming. Josh Allen. 15. player. 32. . Quarterback

The Arizona Cardinals have had a very eventful offseason already, and it is only going to get more interesting as we inch closer to the 2018 NFL season. Head coach Bruce Arians retired after the 2017 season, clearing way for Steve Wilks to get his first NFL head coaching job. Quarterback Carson Palmer also announced his retirement, leaving the team with a gaping hole at the most important position on the team.

There is a chance that the Cardinals make a move for someone like Kirk Cousins this offseason, but they may want to find their next signal-caller via the draft. Some predict that Josh Allen could go as high as No. 1 in the 2018 NFL Draft, but he could also fall to the Cardinals this late in round one. Allen has all the talent to be a successful player at the next level, and he has that big build that  teams look for in a quarterback.

Larry Fitzgerald has not said yet if he plans to return next season, but the odds are he will be back for another go. Running back David Johnson was injured for the  majority of last season, and getting him back is going to take a bunch of pressure off of whoever is under center in 2018. The Cardinals have the talent on defense to be a playoff team next season, and if Allen is as good as advertised, there is no reason why they cannot get to the top of the NFC West as soon as next year.
