Offensive Tackle. Texas. Connor Williams. 18. player. 36.

For the first time since 2011, the Seattle Seahawks did not make the playoffs. The Los Angeles Rams won the NFC West in surprising fashion, as the Seahawks had to overcome way too many injuries to win the division in 2017. They have the talent to make another playoff run next season, but the organization parted ways with most of their coaching staff this offseason, although head coach Pete Carroll does return for 2018.

When it comes to the roster, they need to fill a bunch of holes on both sides of the ball. The Legion of Boom suffered a ton of injuries in 2017, though guys like Cliff Avril and Kam Chancellor have said they plan to work their way back this offseason. On offense, the team made a trade deadline deal to get better at left tackle, but Duane Brown is a short-term solution, meaning the team could draft a tackle in the first round.

Connor Williams has been one of the best offensive tackles in college football during his entire career at Texas, and is going to be a standout player at the next level. He has the size and footwork to stay on the left side in the NFL, and quarterback Russell Wilson needs the organization to bolster the offensive line this offseason. He runs for his life every time he drops back to pass, and as the No. 1 asset this franchise has, they need to make sure protecting him is a priority in 2018, and beyond.
