16. . Defensive Tackle. Washington. Vita Vea. 21. player

The Buffalo Bills will pick twice in the first round in April, and incredibly, those picks will be back-to-back. The Bills came out of nowhere to lock down a playoff spot in head coach Sean McDermott’s first season in charge, though he did make some headscratching moves throughout the season. One such move included benching quarterback Tyrod Taylor when they were in position to clinch a playoff spot, as he made the move to Nathan Peterman against a very tough Los Angeles Chargers pass rush.

McDermott turned back to Taylor the following week, and the veteran led his team to the postseason. While not too many Bills fans are big on Taylor, he is locked up for another year, and the team did spend a draft pick on Peterman in 2017. The Bills may decide to trade up and draft one of these highly rated quarterbacks earlier in round one, but if they stay at No. 21 and 22, they may want to just bolster the defense.

Buffalo’s secondary got great play from rookie Tre’Davious White last season, and could get the same impact from Vita Vea if they take him in the first round. Many believe that Vea is the best defensive tackle this draft class has to offer, and he would definitely be a big addition their defensive line. The Bills have the talent to be a playoff team for years to come, and they may want to parlay these two draft picks into turning their defense into an elite unit.
