24. player. 87. . Offensive Lineman. Ohio State. Billy Price

The Carolina Panthers made it back to the playoffs this past season, after failing to make it the year before. In 2015, the Panthers rode star quarterback Cam Newton all the way to the Super Bowl, where they were beaten pretty badly by an elite Denver Broncos defense. Last season was a huge step in the right direction, as they got great play from first round pick Christian McCaffrey on the offensive side of the ball.

This offseason, star center Ryan Kalil announced that the 2018 NFL season will be his last, which would leave them with a big hole in the middle of the offensive line. One college player who could fill the role moving forward would be Billy Price, who was a standout center for Ohio State during his time at the school. Price also is a phenomenal offensive guard, so drafting a player who can play both in the first round may be the way to go.

Price is a great talent, and is going to hear his name called in the first round. The Panthers need to make sure they continue to make protecting Newton a priority, and Price would help them accomplish that. He could play either position at the next level, and as we have seen with Big Ten offensive lineman in the past, their talents definitely equate in the NFL game. Carolina has the talent to be a playoff team for years to come, but they need to keep Newton upright.
