High Salary PG

Damian Lillard, POR at DET ($8,100): Lillard posted 42.7 fantasy points against the Celtics on Sunday. He missed value in his last back-to-back game but has hit value in four of six back-to-back contests. The Pistons are 16th against the position in their last 15 games. Kemba Walker has a better matchup, but he’s also on a back-to-back, didn’t play well against the Suns, and costs $900 more. Lillard is the better option of the two and the more likely of the two to exceed value. ****

Goran Dragic, MIA vs ORL ($7,000): After missing value in six of his last seven, Dragic posted 53.4 fantasy points against the Pistons. He’s been inconsistent this season, hitting value in 60 percent of contests. Hopefully, the game against Detroit leads to a hot stretch for the Miami guard. He certainly has the right matchup as the Magic are 19th against the portion in their last 15 games. Furthermore, they are the Magic. Dragic posted 48.8 fantasy points against them on Dec. 30. ****

Ricky Rubio, UTA at NO ($7,000): Rubio Has been 10-plus fantasy points over value in four straight. In two of those contests, he’s been 20-plus fantasy points over value. His salary has jumped to where he needs 29.4 fantasy points to hit value on Monday. If Donovan Mitchell is out, that means Rubio will be relied upon to carry the offense once again. Even if Mitchell plays, this is a great matchup for Rubio as the Pelicans are 18th against the position in their last 15 games. No Mitchell should mean a 35-plus fantasy point game. ****
