2. Thunder send Terrance Ferguson and Jerami Grant for Courtney Lee

Lee is a journeyman and according to Hoops Habit, has been reported as the most likely Knick to be traded. He can shoot and play defense and could be extremely useful in Oklahoma City. His off-the-dribble game is limited but the Thunder don’t need him to create much offense. Just take tough defensive matchups on the wing and spot-up around offensive actions for the Big 3.

Outside of Kristaps Porzingis, the Knick are awful. Porzingis said he’d like the team to make a deal to push for the playoffs but that’s unlikely. The Knicks are best served acquiring players like Grant and Ferguson who can help them down the road. They probably have to take players like Kyle Singler and Patrick Patterson to make the salaries work, but it would be worth the cost.
