2. Cleveland Browns

Cleveland’s never-ending search for a quarterback will surely continue this offseason, perhaps with another high draft pick as well as a veteran addition. DeShone Kizer, even after a dismal rookie season, should also remain in the mix.

In terms of a tie to Foles, Browns’ general manager John Dorsey was in the same job with the Kansas City Chiefs when Foles was signed to be Alex Smith’s backup in 2016. In three games that season, including one start when Smith was out with a concussion, Foles completed 65.5 percent of his passes with three touchdowns and zero interceptions.

The Browns have some skill position talent in place, and a mostly solid offensive line when everyone is healthy. So a quarterback that is simply competent, and more importantly isn’t a turnover machine that looks like a deer in headlights far too often, may be all it takes to win a lot more games going forward.

Apart from a far better opportunity to start next season than he’ll have in Philadelphia, the Browns are probably not a team Foles wants to play for. But if Dorsey wants to reunite, and comes with a trade offer the Eagles can’t turn down in order to make it happen, Foles may be Cleveland-bound.
