Pittsburgh Steelers: The Killer B’s

With the talent the Pittsburgh Steelers possess on their roster, there’s no reason they shouldn’t be competing with the Patriots for Super Bowl titles every year. But somehow, they always find a way to underachieve and fall short of title expectations. They were the team that was expected to compete with the Patriots this season but a defensive collapse against the Jaguars changed that. Now more than ever entering the 2018 season, the Killer B’s are the three pieces the Steelers need to win Super Bowl 53.

The Steelers have a Hall-of-Fame quarterback in Ben Roethlisberger, the NFL’s best all-around running back in Le’Veon Bell and the NFL’s best wide receiver in Antonio Brown. What more could the offense ask for at this point? The rest of the league would kill to have just one of them on their roster and the Steelers have the luxury of having all three. Bell’s future with the team is up in the air but it looks like the two sides will be able to agree on a long-term deal.

Assuming all three of the Killer B’s are back next season, there’s absolutely no reason the Steelers can’t reach and win the Super Bowl. On paper, they’re as talented as any team in the NFL. Todd Haley is out the door and Randy Fichtner will have the opportunity to take the offense to the next level. Needless to say, he has the tools to do it.

The Steelers still run the AFC North and 2018 should be no different. A division crown is just about guaranteed and with a consistent offense, Big Ben and company can go out on top with a title.
