WASHINGTON, DC –  JANUARY 12: Bradley Beal /

team. 142. . . Previous: 10th. Washington Wizards. 12

The Wizards picked up a victory over the Thunder on Tuesday, rallying without John Wall for a 102-96 victory over the Thunder. They managed to win despite shooting just 38 percent from the field — they limited Oklahoma City to 37.5 percent shooting from the field, and Tomas Satoransky had a good game on defense against Russell Westbrook. Bradley Beal went off against the Toronto Raptors, with 27 points in the final quarter to help lead Washington to a 122-119 win on their home court.

The Wizards won their final game of the week, defeating the Orlando Magic 115-98 in another balanced, team win, with Tomas Satoransky putting up 19 points and six assists. They continued to show off superb ball movement, frequently zipping the ball around the court to find their teammates for wide open 3-point shots or easy layups. The Wizards had 35 assists on 46 made field goals, their second time in the last week with 35 or more assists in a game, having picked up 40 assists against the Hawks last Saturday. The Wizards look like they’ve figured things out on offense, and it’s too early to tell if that’s because John Wall isn’t playing or if it’s just finally come together for them — I’m going to go with the latter for now.
