2018 NFL Draft: Buffalo Bills 7-round mock
By Joe Romano
Round 5 – Pick 160
Wyatt Teller, G, Virginia Tech
The Bills offensive line is a shaky group. They grabbed Billy Price earlier to sure up the center but need some help at the guard position as well. Wyatt Teller of Virginia Tech was not only the best guard available but one of the best players available at this point in round five.
At this point in the draft teams are looking for potential. That is what Teller brings. The former defensive tackle turned guard has ideal size for the position at 6-foot-4 and 311 pounds. With his long arms and big hands, it is easy to see him turning into a starter down the road. Playing in the same line and learning from, Richie Incognito, could go a long way in his development.
After an impressive Senior Bowl week, Teller has shown himself as more than just a developmental offensive line prospect. With solid coaching, he could make an impact sooner rather than later.
Round 5- Pick 169
Kemoko Turay, EDGE, Rutgers
Another player that made himself substantial money at the Senior Bowl is Kemoko Turay out of Rutgers. The edge rusher showed that he was misused during his time in college. He was one of the best pass rushers in Mobile in a group that featured potential first round pick Marcus Davenport. Scouts raved about Turay’s ability to get to the passer.
Buffalo may not have a glaring need off the edge, but a team can never have enough pass rushers. Current starter Jerry Hughes will be 30 at the start of next season. Former first round pick Shaq Lawson has not shown the skills that Buffalo had hoped and has trouble staying on the field.

Turay will be tested at the combine due to his injury history as well. Should he clear medicals, he has the potential to rise up boards quickly. He has an elite first step and has shown excellent hands and pad level on tape. Rutgers constantly forced him to play out of position. It is almost like they did not realize what they had.
The Bills would be wise to grab a developmental pass rusher. Turay could make an impact early in his career as a situational pass rusher. With good coaching and an NFL strength and conditioning program, an athlete of that caliber could turn into a starter as well.
