4. Justin Pugh, OL

Former team: New York Giants

Switching to the other side of the ball, but another underwhelming name that would make a ton of sense is offensive guard Justin Pugh. The Colts had horrific offensive line play all season. It is part of the reason people were concerned if Andrew Luck returned he would be injured even further.

Adding the former New York Giants guard could help them patch up the center part of their line. Center Ryan Kelly may be the only player on the Colts offensive line that could be considered safe from being upgraded.

Pugh has thrived as a guard but has experience playing right tackle as well. His best place is inside but there is always value for a multidimensional piece along the offensive line. The former first round pick will likely have multiple suitors in the league.

The big issue with Pugh is injury history. Last season, after eight games, he was placed on injured reserve with a back injury. Those are scary injuries for these big offensive lineman. The season before Pugh also missed four games due to a sprained MCL. The talented player has not played a full season since he became a starter in 2013. That could muddy the waters of contract talks for him.

Regardless of those injury concerns, the Colts should jump on the talented guard. Protecting Luck, after he returns from this injury, is top priority. The face of the franchise and one of the most talented quarterbacks in the league, deserves help up front. When healthy Pugh is one of the best in the league and could come at a bit of a discount because of those injury concerns.
