100. . F. Kentucky. Kevin Knox. 16. player

I do not envy NBA teams trying to project Knox’s NBA career, but I’m becoming less excited by him each time he takes a step back.

In the week following a best-case scenario, 34-point scoring explosion against West Virginia (on a lazy night for their press defense), Knox scored a combined 23 points in two games. Against Vanderbilt and Missouri over the last week, Knox managed that pithy scoring total on just 8-21 shooting from the field and 5-10 from the line. He’s a frustrating player to monitor.

That’s the primary reason for Knox’s fall in this edition of the mock draft.

However, Indiana could make some sense as a fit for the freshman. They have found success giving their players freedom and empowering them to take open. Behind Victor Oladipo, the Pacers are suddenly a playoff team. It is far more likely, however, that they continue to build through youth rather than buying into this team’s success.

Knox would hopefully bring a new dimension of athleticism to the team by the end of Oladipo’s current contract.
