Marco Belinelli

The Atlanta Hawks have been terrible this season, as they’re currently last in the Eastern Conference with a record of 17-37. With the team playing that poorly, most of their players have played poorly as well. One who hasn’t is Marco Belinelli.

Belinelli is currently averaging 11.2 PPG while shooting 37 percent from deep on 4.8 attempts per game. While he doesn’t bring much else to the table, what playoff team wouldn’t want another shooter on their roster?

The Heat and the Sixers were both interested in the Italian guard via trade, but now that the deadline has passed, they’ll wait and see if the Hawks choose to buy him out.

The Sixers seem like the better fit of the two as they don’t have a true backup shooting guard on their roster, and his past playoff experience would help this young Sixers team if they do end up making the playoffs.
