High Value C

Serge Ibaka, TOR vs NY ($5,300): Ibaka has missed value in four straight and his minutes have dropped in favor of Pascal Siakam. Despite this, Ibaka remains the start and is entering a favorable matchup on Thursday. The Knicks are 30th against power forwards in their last 15 games and missing their two best frontcourt options. Ibaka is a streaky player. He’s cold right now, but should be able to snap out of his funk given this matchup against the hurting Knicks. ****

Patrick Patterson, OKC at LAL ($3,800): Only take Patterson if Carmelo Anthony is ruled out. The absence of Anthony would mean a likely start for Patterson. He played 30 minutes against the Warriors. He contributed only 16.5 fantasy points, but he’ll see a lot more opportunities against the Lakers as Westbrook and George will be less inclined to take over the way they did against Golden State. If he starts, he’s a low cost option who should give you 20 fantasy points. ***

Jonas Valanciunas, TOR vs NY ($5,700): After going over value in seven straight, Valanciunas missed value against the Celtics, posting 15.75 fantasy points in that contest. He should be back up over value on Thursday given the matchup. No Porzingis and Kanter means Valanciunas should be able to dominate the glass and the paint for the Raptors. Expect him to be back up to 30 fantasy points in this one. ****
