High Value SG

Kent Bazemore, ATL at ORL ($6,200): Bazemore has been subject to trade rumors and the Hawks are willing to sell off anyone not named John Collins. Assuming he’s still on the team, this is a great matchup for the Atlanta guard. The Magic rank 29th against the position in their last 15 games. Bazemore posted 45 fantasy points against them on Dec. 9. The Hawks could look very different on Thursday, which could me an increase in opportunities if Bazemore is still around. ***

Jeremy Lamb, CHA at POR ($4,200): Like Bazemore, Lamb’s name has popped up in trade rumors, so there’s a chance he is no longer on Charlotte when this game tips off. He’s been over value in three straight, proving the Hornets with solid minutes off the bench. He had 20 fantasy points in 24 minutes against Portland on Dec. 16. That number would put him over value on Thursday. If the Hornets deal Kemba Walker or any other shooter/perimeter player, that could open up more opportunities for Lamb. ***

Trey Burke, NY at TOR ($3,800): The Knicks are down multiple starters and will probably look a little different after the trade deadline. If Courtney Lee is traded, that’s good news for Burke’s value as he’ll likely pick up some extra playing time. He’s been over value in his last two games. If Lee remains on the team, he’s a reliable option who should be around value. But if you want a low cost option who will see an increase in opportunity based on the circumstances, Burke is a solid bet, especially if Lee or another Knicks guard ends up elsewhere. ***
