High Value PG

Terry Rozier, BOS at WAS ($6,500): Rozier had 34 fantasy points against the Raptors on Tuesday. Kyrie Irving was back in action, but Rozier will continue to be the top option off the bench with Marcus Smart out. Even if the Celtics acquire Tyreke Evans, he’s unlikely to play on Thursday. That means Rozier should be over value once again given the opportunities he’ll receive. He had 29.4 fantasy points against the Wizards on Christmas. ***

J.J. Barea, DAL at GS ($4,900): Barea was back over value on Monday against the Clippers, posting 24.1 fantasy points in that contest. He’s been dealing with injuries for a few weeks now, but his minutes were back up on Monday, which is a good sign for his value moving forward. He’s averaging 24.4 fantasy points in three games against the Warriors this season. That number would put him nicely over value on Thursday. Assuming he’s over his injury issues, he should be back to the consistent play he’s been all season. ***

Shelvin Mack, ORL vs ATL ($4,500): Mack has been over value in five of his last six, going over 23 fantasy points in four of those contests. He needs 18.8 fantasy points to reach value on Thursday. The Hawks are 19th against the position in their last 15 games. Both teams could look drastically different on Thursday. It’s possible that Mack gets some extra opportunities if the Magic deal some of their better scoring options,. This is a good matchup for Mack and he’s played well in recent contests. ***
