52. . WR. Jacksonville Jaguars. Allen Robinson. 1. player

Without thought, the biggest name that the Jaguars have to target in free agency is one of their own. Just because he got hurt in Week 1’s win versus the division rival Houston Texans does not mean for a second that Jacksonville can discount what wide receiver Allen Robinson means to the Jaguars.

He’s one of their five most talented players. The guy made Christian Hackenberg look competent in college at Penn State. Guess who Blake Bortles’ favorite target was in his franchise record passing season in 2015? Yes, that would be Robinson, who is a top-10 wide receiver in football when he’s healthy. Let’s hope his season-ending injury doesn’t cost him what he’s worth.

Robinson just completed his four-year rookie deal worth $3,510,870 with Jacksonville in 2017. Had he not gotten hurt, who knows how much coin he was set to make this spring? He will still surely make a premium when he hits the market. The question is if he can be paid appropriately by the Jaguars in free agency.

Jacksonville could use the hometown discount to try to bring him back. It does help, as Florida does not have a state income tax. That being said, the Jaguars could use his 2017 injury as leverage to knock the price down. The Jaguars may not be willing to pay the premium he covets, but somebody will. Do keep in mind that the Jaguars made it to the AFC Championship game without him. Hopefully Robinson returns, but you never know with these sort of things.
