High Salary PG

Chris Paul, HOU vs DEN ($9,500): Paul has been over value in three straight. He and James Harden continue to form a dynamic duo that is right now the best backcourt, in terms of fantasy numbers, in the league. This one should be an offensive slugfest with both teams likely scoring 110-plus points. Paul will provide plenty of the scoring, whether through points or assists, for the Rockets on Friday. *****

Damian Lillard, POR at SAC ($8,800): The Trail Blazers are on a back-to-back, but that should not be an issue against the Kings. Sacramento ranks 29th against the position in their last 15 games. Their defense is unlikely to get better with George Hill in Cleveland. Lillard has missed value in his last two back-to-back games, but this matchup is too good for him to not give you at least 40 fantasy points. ****

Ben Simmons, PHI vs NO ($8,500): Simmons has been hit-and-miss in his last four games. The good news is that both of his misses were by less than one fantasy point. He had 49.25 fantasy points against the Pelicans on Dec. 10. Whether you consider Simmons a guard or a forward doesn’t matter when it comes to the Pelicans defense. They give up a lot of rebounds and even more perimeter points. Simmons isn’t a great scorer, but he’s surrounded by a lot of good scorers. He’ll put up a strong offensive game with a triple-double not being out of the question. ****
