FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 9, 2018
High Salary C
Andre Drummond, DET vs LAC ($11,200): Drummond continues to be a force next to Blake Griffin. He’s been over 50 fantasy points in three straight contests, including a 66.4 fantasy point effort against the Nets on Wednesday. DeAndre Jordan is a tough matchup on paper, but he’s wildly inconsistent and at this point, Drummond is simply the better player, especially in a fantasy league. The Pistons center might defer to his new teammate a bit more than usual, but that should not stop Drummond for posting another 50 fantasy point game. ****
Joel Embiid, PHI vs NO ($10,400): After missing value in seven of his last eight, Embiid responded with 55.1 fantasy points against the Wizards. Washington was on a back-to-back, which could explain why Embiid was able to perform at such a level. The good news for Embiid is that he was able to play his own back-to-back this past week, showing that he’s as healthy as he’s ever been. The Pelicans are 25th against the position in their last 15 games. Embiid should be in for another strong night. ****
Karl-Anthony Towns, MIN at CHI ($9,400): Towns has been over value in two straight games. The Timberwolves have made more of an effort to get him involved after forgetting about him for a couple of games there. It’ll likely be the Jimmy Butler show in Chicago, but that should not prevent Towns from getting at least 40 fantasy points in this contest. He’ll help his value with plenty of rebounds. ****
