The Ravens have made it clear that upgrading at wide receiver is one of their biggest offseason priorities, both via the draft and free agency. Enter wide receiver Anthony Miller, who finished his senior season at Memphis with over 1,400 yards receiving and 18 touchdowns.

Miller stands at 5-foot-11, 190 pounds and is a dynamic playmaker capable of lining up both in the slot and on the outside. Despite his frame, he possesses plenty of physicality and strength to beat press coverage off the line of scrimmage. He is outstanding at creating yards after the catch and does a great job of tracking the ball to adjust to difficult throws.

Sometimes, Miller can make the easy catches look difficult and ball security may be a concern (he fumbled five times at Memphis), but his playmaking ability after the catch would make him an immediate weapon for Joe Flacco and the Ravens offense.

It’s possible that Baltimore targets a wideout in the first round, but the real positional value lies in the second and third rounds. They may have to trade up earlier into the second round for a talent of Miller’s caliber, but it would be well worth it to add a player who is quickly ascending up draft boards across the league. Other possibilities at this spot could include a couple of playmaking tight ends, South Dakota State’s Dallas Goedert and Penn State’s Mike Gesicki.
