High Value PF

Thaddeus Young, IND vs NY ($5,400): With the Knicks hurting in their frontcourt, Young has the opportunity to make a big impact. If you want to save even more, don’t be afraid to grab Domantas Sabonis. He’s been disappointing in recent contests, but this is a matchup that projects well for everyone on Indiana, especially their frontcourt guys. Young has been inconsistent this season, hitting value in 54 percent of games. He should have an easy time on Sunday. ****

Taj Gibson, MIN vs SAC ($5,800): Gibson has missed value in four of his last five. Aside from a 17.5 fantasy point effort against the Raptors, none of his misses have been too bad. He had 24.3 fantasy points against the Kings on Dec. 14. That number would put him right at value on Sunday. The Kings are 28th against the position in their last 15 games, so this is a great matchup for the Minnesota power forward. He should be right around value once again. ***

Jerami Grant, OKC vs MEM ($5,200): Grant has been over value in six straight. He needs 22.1 fantasy points tor each value on Sunday. As long as Carmelo Anthony is out, the Thunder forward should be at value once again. If Russell Westbrook is back, that boosts Grant’s value as Westbrook does a great job of getting him involved. He’s a decent scorer, but a solid rebounder and always comes up with a defensive play or two. If Anthony returns, Grant’s value does take a hit, especially if Westbrook remains out. ***
