Silly Season is over and it’s time for Speedweeks — just not quite time for the Daytona 500 or the pursuit of the 2018 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series championship. As it has for many years under various names, the Clash at Daytona is the start for many of the top teams and drivers, with no points on the line but plenty of intrigue nonetheless.

The 2018 Clash features 17 drivers who won poles in 2017, made the playoffs last season or won the Daytona 500 pole in a previous year. Three drivers qualified for the race but will not compete: Dale Earnhardt Jr. (retired), Matt Kenseth (retired) and Danica Patrick (only racing in the Daytona 500, then retiring).

Only money and bragging rights are on the line, but it’s still helpful for teams to use the Clash to get the kinks out before the Great American Race. That’s even more true this year for the Chevrolet drivers, who will get to see how the new Camaro handles in the draft.

For race fans, it’s just good to have the drivers back on the track for a new year. Here’s how to make sure you’re watching live when the green flag drops on Sunday:
