The Bengals take another Nittany Lion with their fourth-round selection, bolstering the receiving corps with DaeSean Hamilton. With likely fop-five pick Saquon Barkley leading the offensive charge for Penn State, Hamilton added 53 receptions for 857 yards and eight touchdowns in 2017.

Hamilton was extremely productive out of the slot and has great size for the position. He displays a good feel for route-running and was at his best against big-time competition during his senior year. Like Cabinda, Hamilton was also a team captain and many have lauded his character, which should certainly translate to an NFL locker room.

If the Bengals want John Ross to be a major contributor next season, adding a receiver like Hamilton to make tough catches in the middle of the field will certainly help. The free agency of tight end Tyler Eifert will also factor into whether Cincinnati chooses to add a tight end in free agency or in this general range of the draft. Ross as a deep threat and Hamilton underneath would create some nice balance in the passing game.

Hamilton had an impressive week at the Senior Bowl in Mobile and would be one of the better value selections among a deep receiving class in the fourth round.
