NBA Power Rankings: Everything revolves around LeBron James

The Knicks didn’t just lose to the Bucks on Tuesday — they were crushed, 103-89. Giannis Antetokounmpo had one of the dunks of the year, vaulting over Tim Hardaway Jr., but the worst moment of the game happened when Kristaps Porzingis fell to the court after a dunk, clutching his left knee. Medical imaging confirmed that the Latvian big man had tore his ACL, and he’ll miss the remainder of the season. The Knicks swung a trade for Emmanuel Mudiay, shipping Doug McDermott to the Dallas Mavericks as part of a three team deal. They also express shipped Willy Hernangomez to the Hornets for two future second round picks, clearing up the logjam they have at center.
They were short-handed against the Raptors following their trades and the injury to Porzingis, and were smoked, 113-88, on the road. The Indiana Pacers beat the Knicks on Sunday, 121-113, putting a cherry on top of the pile of crap this week has been for New York. At the end of the week, the Knicks are without their franchise player, Giannis dunked on Tim Hardaway Jr so hard, Tim’s going to have to name one of his children Giannis, and own a six game losing streak. It’s time to pack things in down the stretch and hope for good luck in the draft lottery.
