DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 13, 2018
High Salary C
Karl-Anthony Towns, MIN vs HOU ($9,200): Towns has been over value in four of his last five. He’s coming off a 56.5 fantasy point performance against the Kings on Sunday. He had 62.5 fantasy points against the Rockets on Jan. 18. In fact, he’s dominated the Rockets in the past two seasons. In his last five games against Houston, he’s averaging 65.7 fantasy points. He needs 42.1 fantasy points to reach value on Tuesday. Until he struggles against the Rockets, just assuming he’s going to get you 50-plus fantasy points. *****
Clint Capela, HOU at MIN ($7,500): While Towns has been great against the Timberwolves, Capela has held his own. He had 30.25 fantasy points in 26 minutes against Minnesota on Jan. 18. His minutes should be closer to 30 in this one, which means his production will be slightly up. He’s been over value in three of his last four. He needs 34.3 fantasy points to reach value on Tuesday. He should be just over that number, turning in another solid night from the center portion. ***
Steven Adams, OKC vs CLE ($6,800): Adams has missed value in his last two. He had 25.75 fantasy points against the Lakers last Thursday and a disappointing 20.75 fantasy points against the Grizzlies on Sunday. The absence of Russell Westbrook has really hurt his game as he gets so many easy baskets off pick-and-rolls. If Westbrook is back, Adams should feast again. He had 42 fantasy points against the Cavaliers on Jan. 20. If Westbrook doesn’t play, you should probably look elsewhere for value. ***
