DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 13, 2018
High Value C
Willie Cauley-Stein, SAC at DAL ($5,900): Cauley-Stein has been under 20 fantasy points in two of his last three. That’s the bad news. The good news is that he had 30.5 fantasy points against the Mavericks on Feb. 3. His salary has dipped due to recent performances and he needs 27 fantasy points to reach value on Tuesday. Given the matchup and his shrunken salary, Cauley-Stein has a real chance to jump nicely over value. ****
Dewayne Dedmon, ATL at MIL ($5,300): Dedmon had 46.75 fantasy points against the Pistons on Sunday. He’s started in two of his last four games. In those two games, he’s averaged 39.6 fantasy points. In the three games he’s come off the bench, he’s averaged 18 fantasy points. He needs 23.2 fantasy points to reach value. If he comes off the bench, he’s a risky play just because he may not get enough minutes to make a big impact. But if he’s in the starting lineup, he should play big minutes and have another strong night, especially against a hurting Bucks squad. ***
Thon Maker, MIL vs ATL ($3,700): No John Henson means Maker should draw the start once again. He had 20.75 fantasy points in 26 minutes against the Magic on Saturday. Not a great number, but at this salary, he needs only 16.2 fantasy points to reach value. He’s a low salary option who, given the circumstance and matchup, should be over 20 fantasy points. There’s always a chance he jumps well over value if he’s able to come up with enough rebounds. He’s a solid low cost option, but nothing more. ***
