DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 13, 2018
High Salary SG
James Harden, HOU at MIN ($11,000): Harden had 48.5 fantasy points against the Mavericks on Sunday. He struggled against the Timberwolves on Jan. 18, providing 30.5 fantasy points in that contest. Having to deal with Jimmy Butler makes life tough for the Houston guard, which is why Paul may be the guy to deliver the big game for Houston on Tuesday. There’s always a chance Harden gets hot and drop 50-plus fantasy points, but he can be bothered by elite defenders. Butler certainly fits that category. ***
Jimmy Butler, MIN vs HOU ($9,300): Butler had 36.5 fantasy points against the Rockets on Jan. 18. He struggled in all categories in that contest, but he’s too good to have an off-night again, especially at home. The Rockets are 24th against shooting guards in their last 15 games. If you consider Butler more of a fall forward, Houston ranks 25th against small forwards. He’ll have a bounce-back performance from that January game, pushing 40 fantasy points on Tuesday. ****
DeMar DeRozan, TOR vs MIA ($8,100): After missing value in three straight, DeRozan had 44 fantasy points against the Hornets on Sunday. Unfortunately, that game wasn’t part of any slate. He had 39 fantasy points against the Heat on Jan. 9. Miami ranks 13th against the position in their last 15 games. This could be a defensive battle with guys struggling to put points on the board. He’s good, but there are better matchups out there on Tuesday. ***
