High Value SG

Gary Harris, DEN vs SA ($6,000): Harris missed value in his last two games. The 12.75 fantasy point performance against the Rockets could be considered an off-night. The 24.25 fantasy points against the Suns might me there is more wrong. Catching the Spurs on a back-to-back and playing at home should be a big boost to multiple Denver players on Tuesday. He’s averaging 27.6 fantasy points in two games against San Antonio this season. Both were in San Antonio. That number would put him right around value. The Nuggets offense will get somewhat back on track on Tuesday. ***

Eric Gordon, HOU at MIN ($5,000): Gordon has been a bust in his last four games, failing to crack 20 fantasy points in each of those contests. He needs 22.5 fantasy points to reach value on Tuesday. However, the Timberwolves are 23rd against shooting guards in their last 15 games and Gordon had 44.75 fantasy points against them on Jan. 18. If there was ever a game for Gordon to remind the world that he’s one of the best scoring guards off the bench, this would be the game. He’s a risk but provides a huge reward. **

J.R. Smith, CLE at OKC ($4,600): Smith had 31 fantasy points against the Celtics on Sunday. He’s a streaky player but is on a hot streak right now. He was one of the few bright spots against the Thunder on Jan. 20, chipping in with 23.5 fantasy points in that contest. He needs 20 fantasy points to reach value on Tuesday. The Cavaliers have a lot of new faces, but Smith’s role remains unchanged. He’s still a shooter who is going to get his looks from deep. With the way he’s shot in recent contests, that could be trouble for Oklahoma City. ***
