The Indianapolis Colts have had quite the interesting offseason already in 2018. First, they fired head coach Chuck Pagano, after another bad season at the helm of the team. Then, they went out and found his replacement, as they seemingly had a deal in place for New England Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels. However, McDaniels ended up staying in New England, and the team then decided to hire Frank Reich as their head coach earlier this week.

When it comes time to draft, the Colts hope to have a better indication about the future of star quarterback Andrew Luck. Luck had shoulder surgery in January of 2017, and it forced him to miss the entire 2017 season. While many have said he should be a good to go for 2018, the organization is going to need a solid indication that is the case, or else they may be in the market for a new quarterback at No. 3.

Assuming Luck is healthy for 2018, the team would shift their focus to the defense with the third overall selection in April. The best edge rusher in this draft class is Bradley Chubb from N.C. State, and that is certainly an area of need for the Colts defense moving forward. He would instantly make the defensive front for Indianapolis a better one, while giving the Colts a sack master to go after the likes of Marcus Mariota and Deshaun Watson twice a season.
